Marilyn Mast, MS, LMFT, LICSW

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Marilyn Mast, M.S., LMFT, LICSW is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Master’s Degree in counseling from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She has worked as a therapist since 1986.

Her areas of competency include, couples counseling, marriage and family therapy,and individual therapy with adults, adolescents and children, women’s issues and grief counseling.

She specializes in working with adults and young people who have been affected by marital problems, family relationship issues, anxiety, depression, abuse issues, grief and spiritual concerns.

Marilyn has a special interest and competency in working with young people. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has written her Master’s Degree thesis on raising self-esteem in adolescents. Her area of expertise is working with couples with marital issues and their young people affected by marital problems or other relationship issues, including couples in blended families.

She encourages individuals to develop new insights and awareness as they process their concerns, interpersonal skill development and healthy communication skills. In the counseling process she supports each person in balancing their emotional, physical, relational and spiritual concerns to develop healthy productive living skills.
