Monica Broshat, MA, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Monica Broshat, MA, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis on children and young adults from Bethel University.
Before coming to Arden Woods, Monica worked as an individual and group therapist for adolescents and adults with eating disorders and other co-occurring disorders. She has experience providing therapy at various levels of care, from outpatient to intensive day treatment to residential.
Later she worked in a residential care facility for children and adolescents battling eating and a variety of other mood disorders. There, she worked as an individual therapist, a family therapist, as well a group therapist.
Monica practices with a collaborative, strength-based approach, utilizing a combination of solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy. She believes in creating an encouraging, supportive, safe space for clients. Monica’s goal is to meet clients where they are at, coming alongside them to create a compassionate environment that helps them move towards a place of peace and healing. In her free time, Monica enjoys being with her family, running, spending time at the cabin, and volunteering at church.
